Aerosmith front-man Steven Tyler says that doing a tour with AC/DC is on his bucket list. The band will play at a music festival in Australia with Van Halen and Tyler tells Rolling Stone that touring with the "Thunder from Down Under" would be huge:
"I would take a pay cut to play with AC/DC. It's one of my last things to do, go on tour with them. I don't really care about the money, and I don't care about some great review. It's more about the fans – it's always been about them."
Aerosmith is touring Australia and the rest of the South Pacific. AC/DC is currently taking a break.
Tyler and guitarist Joe Perry are being recognized for their songwriting efforts. They are receiving the Founder's Award from the ASCAP Expo and will also be inducted into the Songwriting Hall of Fame.
