Lindsey Buckingham says that some of the members of Fleetwood Mac have recorded about half an album's worth of material. Buckingham will join the band on a world tour in 2013. It appears that the tour could lead to a new album. He tells Rolling Stone:
"About six, seven months ago, John [McVie] and Mick [Fleetwood] were over here and we actually cut some tracks, and we did enough for maybe half an album. But you gotta get Stevie [Nicks] on board with that."
Nicks spent much of 2012 touring on her own. Buckingham hopes that everybody gets on the same page with the new album, particularly because of how well he says McVie and Fleetwood were playing.
