Black Sabbath's Tony Iommi to Make Album With Queen's Brian May

Two guitarists from legendary British rock bands plan on working together to record an album of riffs.  Black Sabbath guitarist Tony Iommi and Queen guitarist Brian May want to join forces on the project.  In the latest issue of Kerrang! fellow musicians asked May various questions.  Iommi asked, "When are we going to get to work on that album of riffs together?  You know what I'm talking about."

May replied, "Yes, I do know what he's talking about and I'm very, very keen. The record he's talking about was supposed to be a secret but I guess he's blown it now!"

The idea came about when May visited Iommi's studio.  The Queen guitarist was amazed by the amount of unnused music Iommi had.  So, they want to put together an album of the riffs so people could put their own music to it.  As May says, "You could make your own music with Tony Iommi on guitar!"
